Message: There was a thrilling finish to the May Groupie Challenge yesterday. The TOPTIP couldn?t separate Bush Padre and Freemason, and of course, they run the quinella (paying $25). When two horses tie as the top tip I designate the top tip by whichever selection is shorter on Supertab?in this case Bush Padre. There were 10 Group 1 races in the May Challenge, and the TOPTIP nominated 8 winners ! If you had $1 each way on the top tip through May you would have made a $55 return on a $20 outlay !
As the competition has progressed, those that have stuck with it have just got better and better at this caper. The Top Tip is a reflection of that. There have been 120 contestants in the Groupies but the hardcore of about 60 that have become its regulars have proven a formidable group of tipsters. Well done everyone.
