R7 6 Grandiva going to make this my anchor today after a couple of recent trials will have ready for first up assignment, has won in that state before along with an unucky third when subject to massive betting plunge, Watch carefully if money is on today. Only doubt is whether will handle wet track but handled it in trial win at warwick farm recently and being out of Sound reason mare she should.
R8 Going wide in the Jungle Juice Cup as I reckon there are a number of chances here. Top four of Carnegie prince who won the recent Cessnock Cup over same track and distance and slow conditions, Cruzado last start winner and likes track, Mr Incredible with thompson up and Prior Baron who has been racing well, should almost do it but will also include 3,7,11,14,16,18
R9 My First pick is 4 Manoloblahniks, came home well in fresh state to be just off the first 3, has a good second up record, thompson has jumped off Buckmoore to ride and won on track, gets a lot of ticks. No 1 Dance Arena should be hard to beat except worried about wide barrier draw and unknown on wet tracks. Buckmoore races well on slow tracks and real danger. Prince Covet should run a cheeky race fresh and my roughie Fully Armed ran the race of an improver last start and then followed that up by a 6L trial win a week ago. If you can, maybe go a bit wider still in last and take smaller % with 3,11,13

Message: You could say, we were a more than little unlucky today. Grandiva just got too far back, and sprouted wings at the finish to just miss, another stride and she had it won. With the favourite beating her, our quaddie would of paid a whole lot more than the 2k+ it ended up paying. After she got beat, I had a go on Manoloblahniks in the last along with a $20 quinella with Dance Arena ($16) which more than made up for the loss. Hope some of you got some too. Better luck tommorrow
