I was watching some old race replays on YouTube recently and kept noticing comments by a subscriber named HorseRacingFan100.

I feel like I know this guy but just can't put my finger on where I know him from.

Can anyone help?

Thanks for this mate. It was good watching Heroicity win The BMW.

Until 2011, Heroicity was the only WA horse to win The BMW.

Northerly came close but was pipped on the line by Freemason.

Of course as we now know - the last WA horse to win The BMW was Cedarberg who won in 2011.

Cedarberg was born in WA but was trained in the east by Pat Carey, still though he was a WA horse.

But thanks for that race Count Chivas. I enjoyed watching it.

Here's a great win by the very good West Aussie 3 year old, Heroicity in the 1992 BMW, great head-bobbing finish.
Good to hear Tappy's call of the race again, too.

Heroicity won a couple of derbies back home in the west and we never really saw the best of him over here in the east.

Seemed to lose form towards the end of '93 and was retired to stud.
I think he ended up at stud in the USA.

I posted this race and the other races of Rogan Josh - I have a youtube account. I plan to post other races of other WA horses such as Northerly, Miss Andretti, Scenic Shot, Scenic Blast etc.

Yep he was 16/1 in the Mackinnon. Was also 12/1 in the Herbert Power which he won. Was 25/1 in the Caulfield Cup and could of won it with a better ride from Munce. Was 5/1 for the Melbourne Cup.
