Message: You set the bar too high for some Moley.
Track cycling in particular rarely gets great media attention in this country, unlike in GB where the tradition of the sport is long and strong.
A.Meares has always been a favourite of mine and her fight back from serious injuries to take commonwealth, world and now olympic titles is a fair measure of the woman. Her sister was a pretty fair track cyclist also.
The Australian cycling team will be licking its wounds at the moment. It's possible they got their timing wrong with the concentration on the World Championships affecting their olympic performances. The Brits as we know were solely focused on London and they smashed us on the track here. They are claiming a new dynasty of dominance, but we'll bounce back.

Message: Well Master Mole could it be that she is involved in an explosive event(s) that are over quickly? Could it be that her particular sport (i.e. track cycling) only receives air play once every 2 years? Could it be that she is always seated and her body always fully covered? Perhaps if she was to perform in outfits that showed her navel jewellery we would take more notice? Perhaps it is not Anna who is to blame perhaps it is her support team? Perhaps she needs the services of a Max Markson type?
Message: Unlike some on this forum she has let her actions speak for her ....and her actions say it all. She is a Champion, hard work and guts and I would rather her any day as a role model than some half dressed no talent dreg of which there are plenty on tv.
