Well Done Sir!

You also made the big call.

But Muirfield did call SOF the "bet of the year" on his post "The Farm" (28 March, 11:24am).

Cheers...Mcgarret

I don't wish to sound like a prat - but are you sure Muirfield called it? I wrote the following last Thursday - and I like to think that I pretty well nailed it. Lots of $$$$$ in my Sportingbet account agrees :)

I'm not going to go as far out on a limb like Ribbie and others - but - I will say in my first ever tip that SOF is an absolute certainty on Sunday and any talk, speculation and debate on "anything" beating him is just s..t stirring. SOF tuned up over 1000m with a 57.1 canter last week. In this race last year he was awesome, and I am positive he is back bigger/stronger. He will run a course record on Sunday - and there will be no swoopers at that pace. I'm not going to debate the extra 100m in the Galaxy - but over the 1000m WF Challenge regardless of weight or barrier - he will clean them. Please God let the bookies give $2.20+ again.

Oli, my little 17yo mate, you are a gem!

Gaze On! Thanks buddy. Doubled it up into Star of McSquib.

Back against this horse all you like at 1100m and beyond, but don't back against him at 1000m and below. Who are you people kidding?

Had five bets on the weekend. Monaghan Tweed each way - came out even. Niello to win (couldn't see him beaten so loaded up). Then stupidly put a few dollars to win on Beautiful Gem. Today, Bart's three year old filly which won narrowly. Then on the nose of SOF after reading McGarretts post which made me look into it a bit more (thanks McGarrett!). Easy money. Can't wait until next week.

P.S. Last weekend was a minor disaster but this weekend got that back and a little more.

MBB should have won, he was harshly dealt with weights, he should have got 58. Sportsbrat was the next best horse in the race and i can't beleive it paid $22.

Gaze On 80-1

SOF-Gaze On double 100-1

LOL

What about them odds kruder LOL

I could have kicked myself, I saw the $3.25 this morning and i thought that was good value but decided to wait until the other online bookies put their prices up and I waited and waited until Sportodds put up $2.75 so I thought I would wait until IAS put up their's.

Ended up with $2.25. Oh well a win is a win.

Furthermore what about the price of Sportsbrat, can you believe it? The horse had won 4 from 7 first up and paid $24. Only had a saver as I backed MBB but still came out way in front. Funny game this punting.
