19/03/2010 Logan's Choice - Lightly raced mare who judging by her latest victory is in for a big preparation. Wasnt disgraced first up from a spell in the Group 2 Breeders Classic at Randwick and proved she was right up to the mark with an ultra impressive victory at Canterbury last time out when sitting wide throughout. She grinded away late and will appreciate a little bit further than the 1100m. In a good stable and has many more wins in store.
19/03/2010 Blue Oscar - Moonee Valley winner three starts ago and has since run two courageous seconds when beaten narrowly. He was forced to park outside Hadaaf last time and was only narrowly beaten after looking to have the race in his keeping. He has a very consistent record and a step up in distance could be next. If stepped up look for him to take some cover and park just off the speed and prove hard to beat.
18/03/2010 More Strawberries - Well bred youngster who was super impressive on debut although defeated after missing the jump. She then raced wide but motored home to be beaten under a length when a well backed favourite. She looks a smart type in a good stable who has a bright future.
18/03/2010 Zedi Knight - Talented five-year old who wasn't ridden the best last time out at Moonee Valley when finishing third. He was unbalanced at a crucial stage of the event and will appreciate having a senior rider on board next time out. He has won 6 from 14 and has plenty of scope. Stick with him.
17/03/2010 Zabrasive - Up and coming stayer who is yet to miss a cheque in a five start career. He resumed off a break with a stylish victory in easy company at Wyong before rising sharply in grade to tackle the Randwick Guineas. He got well back before taking a wide passage to rattle home into fourth beaten just over a length behind Shoot Out. Being by Zabeel he looks like he will continue to get better over more ground and has some top class races in him.
17/03/2010 Micalong - Progressive galloper who has hit his straps since working his way towards 2000m. Was a good maiden winner at his 6th start by a big space and backed it up with another runaway victory. Looks to be a nice stayer in the making and can go on with it.
16/03/2010 Flaming Rock - Is still a maiden after five starts but has shown good ability and a victory isnt far off. Should have won last time out at Warwick Farm when ridden terribly by an apprentice. He was wide throughout and still had the tenacity to loom as the winner halfway down the straight before the tough run tolled. He was beaten just under two-lengths and will be breaking his maiden status before long.
16/03/2010 Lakedro - Lightly raced galloper who was a well supported favourite last time out at Moonee Valley but raced very eratic and gave Williams a torrid time. Still managed to look the winner in the straight before being grabbed on the line to finish a narrow second. He still has plenty of learning to do but has good raw ability. Has a future.
15/03/2010 Kenston - Made debut with an impressive second at Albury when started from an outside gate and raced wide throughout. Looks to have good ability and should continue to improve. Keep watch.
15/03/2010 Swift Alliance - Well performed galloper who resumed over an unsuitable distance but ran an impressive race to finish 4th beaten just 2 lengths in track reocrd time. He will take major improvement from that run and a step up in distance will also be in his favour. Follow.
12/03/2010 Centennial Park - Consistent type who although is yet to run a place in his two starts from a spell, both runs have been full of merit and indicate he is right on song. He was only 1.4 lengths off Rangrirangdoo first up before a brave effort when working for the entire trip when beaten just over a length behind Dreamscape in the liverpool City Cup. He has won third up in his previous campaign and look for him to be in the finish when next produced.
12/03/2010 Olympias Girl - Resumed from a 5 month break with an impressive 4 length victory at Pakenham before stepping up to midweek grade at Sandown and getting well out of her ground before working home well. She looks ready to step up in distance and is right in form.
11/03/2010 Purple - Highly talented mare who should be ready to show her best after two starts back from a spell over unsuitable distances. She was a super run last time out over the 1600m in the Chipping Norton when raced handy before only finishing just over three lengths from Theseo. She has won up to 2400m and with a step up in distance she is going to be very hard to stop.
11/03/2010 Life To The Full - Tasmanian trained galloper who followed a listed race victory at Launceston with a close up fourth behind Captain Coltish at Flemington. He was well out of his ground from the good barrier but was able to close quickly on the leaders to not be beaten far. He's in top form and is ready to win.
10/03/2010 Nicastro - Lightly raced galloper who has plenty of potential. He resumed from a 5 month break at Flemington in tough grade and settled last from barrier one a good 6 lengths off the leader at the 400m. He came down the extreme outside and his effort to finish 5th behind some talented types was full of merit. The run should have done him the world of good and expect him to be in for a good campaign.
10/03/2010 Scarf - Striking grey by Lonhro who was well fancied on debut at Canterbury when given a terrible ride by McEvoy. He finished 9th beaten just 1.7 lengths and with a clear passage would have won easily. The stable have a high opinion of this gelding and he will be winning next time out.
9/03/2010 Dancing Gisele - Talented mare who hasn't had the best of luck recently. Saddle slipped in town three starts ago before running an honest race at Canberra. Got further back then usual last time out at Wagga prior to rattling home over the conlcuding stages to finish an unlucky third. Look for her to be winning a similar classed race soon.
9/03/2010 Happy Time - Lightly raced son of Foreplay who was well out of his depth in a strong Black Opal but performed strongly when only beaten 3 lengths behind Decision Time. Is still a maiden and obviously likes the sting out of the ground and can come back a better horse given a break. Will win races.
