Horses to FollowChris ScholtzTRIPLE ELEGANCE
(Chris Waller) - Found his form on a firm track at Rosehill last Saturday with a much improved effort for third in the George Main Stakes. Has the class to win at the top level and he will appreciate a return to handicap conditions in the Epsom.
'Aspro'STRIKE THE STARS
(Anthony Cummings) - With his grand final set in stone, the Spring Champion looks a great race for him. Of those set for the race, he seems to have had the best preparation and being by
Savabeel (who himself won the race) he won't miss the 2000m. He picked up the leader like a good horse in the Gloaming and that was the form for the Champion Stks last year.
Dean CrokerALBERT THE FAT
(Chris Waller) - At his first run for the new stable ran a cracker behind Love Conquers All. Ran a career best, even better than his G1 BTC Cup win. There can easily be a sprint race for him during the carnivals as long as he's not racing the elite short coursers.

Alex SteedmanGREEN MOON
(Robert Hickmott) - Lloyd Williams-owned stayer who endured a difficult run yet still managed to win the Group 3 Newcastle Cup last week. The Montjeu entire was tough right to the finish after being caught very deep from an outside barrier in the early stages. Should get into the Melbourne Cup with a light weight and can become part of a particularly strong Cup assault this year from Team Williams. Formlines are good too.
Wayne BristowBLACK AND BENT
(Robert Smerdon) - Surely not possible is it. He is racing so well and that 'flat' effort in the Naturalism was a better rating than his Banjo Paterson Series win. Was never likely over the 2000m but once at the mile and a half (maybe the Bart Cummings on Turnbull Stks day) he might show his best again. Just hope he's an early riser with that meeting starting before sparrows.
