A member of the John O'Shea stable,
Hoss Amor showed class to reel n the favourite Hidden Warrior late in the race to win impressively.
Named after her part owner, Sky Racing personality Andrew "Hoss Bensley,
Hoss Amor boasts 35 owners in various syndicates.
The General Nediym filly will continue to improve according to trainer John O'Shea and will now head to the Gold Coast for the $2 million Magic Millions Classic over 120m on January 14.
Part owned by TAB Sportsbet's Number One Club, the filly was at $41 to win the MM Classic before her Wyong win. She is now into $9.
"Wasn't that a bit of fun," a delighted O'Shea said.
"She's got a good bit of ability. She got a little lost at her first trial but she jumped much better today.
"She got a little lost up the straight, but she's got a lovely action.
"I think she beat a pretty good field. It's pretty exciting.
"I put my brother into her so there was a bit of pressure I can tell you. That's his first horse, so how about that!"
Winning rider Brenton Avdulla was delighted with the performance and said he was looking forward to riding the talented youngster in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic.
Jim Cassidy had been riding the filly in work but missed his chance to ride the filly at Wyong as he doesn't resume from a suspension until Saturday.
"She did a good job - she bounced out well and John had her pretty tuned up for today," the talented young rider said.
"We got into a good spot, but I thought the second horse had us beaten on the corner when it skipped away, but when I put a couple around her tail she really hit the line strong.
"Whatever she has done today she is going to improve on.
"Se is going to be a very good ride in the Magic Millions."
Hoss Amor beat Hidden Warrior by a neck with Dear Demi doing her best work late to finish third.
A member of the final crop of former outstanding Magic Millions graduate General Nediym, shares in
Hoss Amor were offered by syndicator Champion Thoroughbreds through a Sky Channel contest that involved giving the filly a name associated with Andrew Bensley.
