Last Chance To Win $200,000 At Randwick

Tuesday, 24 April 2012: Racegoers attending Saturday's Schweppes Sydney Cup Day at Royal Randwick will have a final chance to win a share of $200,000 in the Australian Turf Club's “Super Sevens” promotion plus a guaranteed $20,000 for the last tipster standing.

“We went incredibly close to giving away the $200,000 last Saturday with one entrant tipping six winners on the trot and only missing out tipping the winner of the last race,” ATC Chief Operating Officer Ian Mackay explained.

“The Australian Turf Club is eager to see the massive $200,000 prize won this week, but in the event that we can't find a winner, we will be rewarding the last tipster standing with $20,000, regardless of what race he or she exits the competition.”

“This extra boost for punters will cap off a great six weeks' racing in Sydney. This Saturday will be a Champions Day and we think it's only right we should reward a champion tipster with at least $20,000 on this sensational day of racing.”

To enter, patrons can find a “Super Sevens” entry form located in the day's race book or you can download an entry form in advance from www.thesydneycarnival.com.au.

Racegoers need to make their selections for Races 2 – 8 and place them in the entry boxes before the start of Race 2. Live updates of how many entries are still alive will be broadcast over the public address system throughout the afternoon, building the excitement. Only one entry permitted per patron.

A fantastic day of racing is scheduled this Saturday, headlined by the running of one of Sydney's premier staying events, the Group 1 $500,000 Schweppes Sydney Cup and supported by three Group 1 races- the $500,000 Tabcorp Queen Elizabeth Stakes over 2000m and Ticketek All Aged Stakes (1400m) plus see Pierro aim for the two-year-old Triple Crown in the $400,000 Moet & Chandon Champagne Stakes (1600m).
