Thursday, 10 May 2012: The Australian Turf Club has announced Caitlin and Campbell Rawiller, children of NSW Premiership winning jockey of Nash Rawiller as the new faces of the Club.
Delighted to accept their first junior ambassador role, and excited to be taking the spotlight away from Dad, Caitlin and Campbell are looking forward to attending a number of trackside family events.
12-year-old Caitlin said she was really excited to be chosen to represent the Australian Turf Club.
"It is a great honour to be chosen to support the Australian Turf Club and be given this opportunity,” Caitlin said.
“We hope that we can show kids that it is cool to come to the races,” Campbell added.
The appointment comes after Campbell wowed the crowd with his acceptance speech in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes on Schweppes Sydney Cup Day.
Caitlin and Campbell will make their first official appearance on course this Saturday for the Australian Rotary Health Race Day featuring the Lord Mayor's Cup at Rosehill Gardens.
