The six-year-old was last seen winning the G1 Prix Ganay by eight lengths at Longchamp on April 29 but could miss the Ispahan to wait for the G1 Coronation Cup at the Epsom Derby meeting on Saturday week.
"I'll see who is left in the Ispahan and who might be running at the Curragh on Sunday in the Tattersalls Gold Cup because there are many horses also engaged in the Coronation and then we'll decide," Barande-Barbe told Racing Post.
If he lines up at Longchamp, Cirrus des Aigles is poised to meet 2011 G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and G1 Prix de Diane winner Golden Lilac, 2011 G1 Prix du Jockey-Club winner Reliable Man and recent G1 Dubai World Cup third Planteur.
Trainer Marco Botti is looking forward to running Planteur in the Ispahan.
"We've been very pleased since he came back," said Botti.
"He had a little break and physically he's done really well. He did a nice piece of work at the weekend and it's a case of so far, so good."
Planteur will be reunited with Christophe Soumillon, who was on board for the son of Danehill Dancer's G1 success in last year's Prix Ganay when trained by Elie Lellouche.
