Monday, 28 May 2012: Champion sire elect Fastnet Rock extended his big lead over Lonhro at the head of the Australian general sires' premiership on Saturday when his daughter Sea Siren became the first filly in history to win the G1 Doomben Ten Thousand.

Fastnet Rock x Express A Smile by Success Express) has now won five of her seven career starts and been placed twice for earnings of $883,330.
She is out of the late unraced mare Express A Smile (Success Express) who is the dam of six other winners including the stakes winners Lady Dehere (Dehere),
Oratorio (Stravinsy) and Discorsi (Galileo).
Her second dam is the Group One winning mare Hold That Smile (Haulpak).
Sea Siren 
became
Fastnet Rock's tenth individual G1 winner earlier this month when she won the BTC Cup at Doomben.
Fastnet Rock's outstanding G1 winners this season includes other top three-year-old fillies Atlantic Jewel (All Aged Stakes/1000 Guineas) and Mosheen (Storm Queen Stakes/Randwick Guineas/Australian Guineas/VRC Oaks).
Fastnet Rock 
is also the sire of G1 winners Planet Rock (NZ 1000 Guineas) and Rock 'n' Pop (NZ 2000 Guineas) and has sired the winners of over $10.9 million in Australia this season.
The dual G1 winning son of Danehill is currently serving his third Irish season at
Coolmore for a private fee.
He will stand the upcoming southern hemisphere at
Coolmore Australia for $220,000.
Sea Siren was foaled and raised at
Coolmore but was withdrawn from the 2010 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale by her owner-breeder Keith Biggs.
Her haf sister Lady Dehere (Dehere), winner of the G2 Matamata Breeders' Stakes, is the dam of another G2 winner Oracy.

Fastnet Rock x Storm Signal, by Keltrice) showed great potential to win his first start despite racing greenly.
A $240,000 purchase from the Westbury Stud draft at the 2011 NZB Premier Yearling Sale, Destruction is the first foal of Group III winning Keltrice mare Storm Signal.
