Monday, 25 June 2012: Favourite Strait of Dover led from go to whoa to take the Queen's Plate at Woodbine and did it in a polytrack record for the trip.
Canada

Oaks winner Irish Oaks was1 1/4 lengths further back in second and they were followed home by Dixie Strike.

This was the 153rd running of the Queen's Plate. Let's hope the Canadians can keep their racing going and that we will see the 154th running next year. They have support from some very powerful agencies so here's hoping!
