Black Caviar's return home to Australia has been delayed and the champion mare is now expected in Melbourne in the early hours of Wednesday morning, a day later than scheduled.
She will be accompanied by new stablemate Voila Ici who will be prepared by Peter Moody for the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups.
Queensland breeder Jon Haseler recently bought a majority share in the dual Group One-winning Italian stayer who has qualified for both Cups.
A two-time Group One winner in Italy, Voila Ici has been in full training with Ed Dunlop in England to keep his fitness levels up and his program will be mapped out after he spends two weeks in quarantine alongside Black Caviar at the Werribee facility.
Black Caviar's spring schedule will depend on her recovery from muscle tears which occurred during her win in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.
