  Story by Peter Neall

Friday, 20 July 2012: Dominic Tourneur continued the success Wednesday when he rode Miss Intensus to a win in the opening race at Morphettville on Thursday.

Trained by Phillip Stokes the two year old Miss Intensus put in a good display of galloping when she led all the way.

The combination of trainer Kym Healy and rider Justin Potter tasted victory when Pretty Blonde won the 1950 metre Maiden Plate.

After running a good second at Gawler at her previous start Pretty Blonde came from well back to win.

Trainer Lloyd Kennewell and jockey Paul Gatt combined with Social Assassin who won his first race from six starts in the 1250 metre third race.

Travelling last when the field was well into the straight, Social Assassin came with a long sustained run to gain victory.

Mestari took full advantage of the coveted number one barrier position when the gelding gave the combination of mentor Tony McEvoy and rider Matthew Neilson a win in the 1400 metre fourth event.

Mestari started well and led throughout the event.

After winning at Port Augusta on Sunday, King Rodney brought up a duo of wins when he won the 1250 metre sixth race.

Trained by the father and son team of Ron and Brett Campbell and ridden by Shayne Cahill King Rodney was always well placed.

Paul Gatt brought up the second leg of a double when Eleftheria won the 1000 metre sixth race. Prepared by trainer Bill Papazaharoudakis, Eleftheria came with an explosive burst of speed late in the event.

After having survived a protest from the apprentice Krystal Bishop ridden Doubtfire, Elsewhere was declared the winner of the final event.

Being under the care of Ken Sweeney and bringing up a double for Matthew Neilson, Elsewhere came from a worse than a mid position to take out the event.
