Despite a vigorous defence, top jockey Glyn Schofield was suspended for six meeting for careless riding at Rosehill.
Stewards charged Schofield with shifting out at the 300m mark of the Myer Handicap aboard More Rocco, causing Christian Reith to lose his running on Kim Divine.
Schofield pleaded not guilty and launched a spirited defence to refute the stewards claim that he shifted his position in running.
"I don't believe I have shifted at all," Schofield said, arguing there were contributing factors to Reith being checked.
Schofield has the option to appeal the suspension but as it stands will be sidelined after next Saturday's Warwick Farm meeting until August 10.
