Wednesday, 15 August 2012: Australian Turf Club is getting behind rugby’s prized Bledisloe Cup by offering free entry to anyone wearing a Wallabies or All Blacks jersey at Rosehill Gardens on Clubs NSW Western Metro Region San Domenico Day this Saturday.
Purchase a race book on the day and go in the draw to win four tickets to the Bledisloe Cup at ANZ Stadium including a shuttle transfer to the game that night.
Saturday’s eight-race program is headlined by the Group 3 $125,000 Smithfield RSL Club San Domenico Stakes which will welcome back to the track All Too Hard from the Hawkes stable.
Boasting three wins from four starts to date, the son of Casino Prince has displayed similar rock star looks to his half sister Black Caviar.
The three-year-old will be up against stiff competition in Golden Slipper runner-up Snitzerland who took out a recent barrier trial against the colt at Rosehill Gardens on 3 August.
Also featuring on the card is the Listed, $100,000 Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL Starlight Stakes over 1100m where four-year-old Satin Shoes will return to the track following a three month spell.
Her main rival will be Peter Snowden-trained Skytrain who will be targeting Group racing this spring.
