Friday, 8 September 2006: Hurricane Run was entered for the Champion Stakes in Ireland but Andre Fabre has elected to run him in the G2 Prix Foy on Sunday at Longchamp.
Stablemates Near Honor and Shirocco both are to run; Divine Story has been supplemented and Pride will also be thereabouts.
The G1 Prix Vermeille for the girls is over the same 2400m and we think John Hammond has a good duo in Freedonia and Sweet Stream.
The G2 Prix Niel, also over 2400m has so far still got 9 runners including a host of raiders – Dragon Dancer, Papal Bull,Puerto Rico and Youmzain. Should they all line up we will go for the home team with Bremen and the raiders with Papal Bull and Puerto Rico.
The G3 Prix du Petit Couvert is over 1000m. Andre Fabre has supplemented Sweet Travel so we will go for it with Latona and Biniou in the mix.
G3 Prix Gladiateur is for the stayers over 3100m and the interest is in Policy Maker and Franklins Gardens who are entered for the Melbourne Cup.
