Author: BB Timestamp:- 13/9/2002 12:11:03 PM Subject: Best Interest Rates in the Land Message: Im sorry to say but unless someone bolts out of the pack the Cox Plate is all but over. Northerly continues to put up B grade performances and will have to conjure up some form in the next month to have a hope. I know Sunline is HOTY yadda yadda.. but the trainers continue to hide from serious runners of the likes of Defier, little O and Northerly and I would not be surprised if she doesnt even run in the Cox in hope of letting her end her career as the Champ she is. She is currently well behind in race fitness compared with her rivals.
This leaves only Lonhro and Defier as serious ccontenders and Defiers trainer has been saying that he doesnt think it will make the distance. Anyone who doubts Lonhro should take a look at the video of the 2001 Caulfield Guineas and then try and tell me he aint the real deal.
The only reason Defier beat him was that he had been left 3 weeks between runs as well as Beadman assuming the race was over at the 150m and letting Defier have a look.
Lonhro 3/1 interest take it while you still can. | | Post a reply to this message. |

They are certainly good enough to give it a shake. Oliver's ride on FOO won out today, but MM is as good. | | Post a reply to this message. |

Not too sure what their capable of, will take a big effort on their behalf though. | | Post a reply to this message. |

grandera is certainly capable of winning the cox plate he would have to be the best-perfomed middle distance horse to compete here from europe
but i would prefer to be on eishin preston he has better acceleration which is required around the tight MV circuit

there is only one certainty going around this year and you can put every dollar you have on it
that is brisbane will win the afl premiership and will win it very very easily
you can get 1.55 or 1.60 around and you only have to wait two weeks to collect
and by the way you do not have any crook jockey that can pull them up
actually by the way people who do read this what is better to bet on do you think racing or sports.
i have bet on both but have now totally lost interest in betting on racing to many things can go wrong as in horse is not fit, crook, injured,.jockeys and trainers dont try in races, hold them up ,ride them bad and then races are run different as in no pace causing to much interferance just thing very hard to follow and things go wrong.have lost a lot of intersest in racing since they have started all these races every day of the week and night meetings form is hard to follow.
selected sports betting is very easy yes prices are very short but if you unload on certain things can win big money the sports i think which are good to bet on are.afl & nrl head to head betting.test cricket particulally games with australia in australia.tennis head to head games on the grand slam events.rugby union head to head. there are a lot of stupid sports bets as well like margins and spread betting but the head to head ones on the above mentioned sports are quite good.i would bet $1000.00 to $2000.00 on a weekend but prefer to put it on sports betting instead of horse racing.
this week you can get $1.65 the treble port adelaide in afl broncos in nrl & warriors in nrl $2000.00 on that is a $1300.00 profit not bad for a weekends work and do not have to study a formguide they all should win
you know what will happen after typing this and saying how easier sports betting is one or two of these teams may get beaten.........gee i hope not | | Post a reply to this message. |

He would be right up there with the best horses in the world over a mile and a quarter. And from these distances up the European/American horses are many lengths ahead of anything that we have here. I think it will be Grandera first daylight second in the Cox and the same distance between Vinnie Roe and second in the MC. | | Post a reply to this message. |
Author: Speedy Gonzalez Timestamp:- 13/9/2002 2:59:57 PM Subject: Re: Best Interest Rates in the Land Message: The % rates are better on MM. After Saturday, you won't be getting $9 anymore.........more like $6.
Lonhro won't start any shorter than $3, so no point in taking the risk by accepting $4 now.
