Arfur and others,
I realise that this is a passionate issue with some of you, but isn't it about time we wrapped it up. As in many racing subjects, considerable disagreement exists here, but I would have thought everything worth saying has been said and in a variety of ways.
If the issue is going to be re-raised each time a jumper falls over, then it will never end, despite there being nothing to gain from any further discussion.
Its up to the majority of you to not take the bait each time its cast.
