Author: yakeckhid Timestamp:- 25/3/2008 9:48:08 PM Subject: MiDwEeK bLaCkBoOk RuNnErS 26.Mar Message: Welcome all, a few to quench the thirst Wednesday. I’ve had a look at the form for Canterbury and as such commented on each. Note 3 runners at Canterbury, all but Emperator, are having their ‘Next’ start since being nominated, whereas Sandown noms are a little long in the tooth but two, Lots Of Laughter and Galactic Gun have been winners for the stable, and Dwoodsio appears to have a lot of faith in Sweet Svengali.
ICESKATES - CANTERBURY Race 2 No 7 by Cummo3 “looked the winner when got out but ducked out near the line which cost him” Yak says: recent edition to the stable who gets chance here, wont be a maiden for long.
HEAVENLY GLOW - CANTERBURY Race 2 No 1 by Dwoodsio “had this one earmarked for over a yr, she has it all ahead of her.” Yaks says: another recent edition, first start for new trainer, has form behind Occurrence.
EMPERATOR - CANTERBURY Race 2 No 2 by YAK 28. 1 2nd & if didn’t have to change lanes last 200, wins. Looking for a senior jock to steer + knight two Should Had Won Monday. Need A Senior Jockey On It Will Win Next Time” Yaks Says: Ran game 2nd on Monday ???
STACKED - CANTERBURY Race 6 by Hands n Heels “Fought for it early with Angelino & spent some petrol. Worked hard, forced the pace just enough to bring the winner into it. Honest, always gives a sight” Yak says: Coming off a let up since being nominated, handy 1st up form, handy in the wet, 3kg claim wont hurt chances.
SWEET SVENGALI - SANDOWN Race 1 No 8 by Dwoodsio - “1st up off a 6 month break, following a fast finishing debut win, got caught 3 wide the trip and still kept fighting on for 3rd” and then added recently “want to blackbook her once again, I think her ideal distance will be between 1400-1600m, which she will get up to from here on in”
LOTS OF LAUGHTER - SANDOWN Race 6 No 4 by thegreatgadsby “05.01 looked to be struggling turning ended up running on well 4th, better for the experience, there was money for it so stable must have an opinion”
GALACTIC GUN - SANDOWN Race 7 No 11 by snozzy “Big effort 3rd Sale Class 1 Jan 24. Goes ok and might just jag us one at decent odds each way in the same grade next start”
PURPLE HAZE - CHELTENHAM PARK Race 6 No 2 by goodpunteroutofluck “real eye-catching run trained by Hayes, only had the three starts came home with a wet sail might now be looking at 1600m +”
Good Luck, Until Next let the good times roll. YAK.

Sweet Svengali was scratched today, but your right, I do have a lot of faith in her, she might be heading to Adelaide to have a run, ill keep you posted..
Heavenly Glow won well enough, I was pretty happy with the odds, I expected those odds with a full field - let alone a field of 4-5, she will get stronger over more ground aswell.. | | Post a reply to this message. |
