Not knocking your stats for one second, Maybach; I merely wish to reiterate a point I've made several times in recent months with reference to more than one jockey, and the three most important factors in his/her success:
1. The Horse.
2. The Horse.
3. The Horse.
Let's suppose for one second Ollie fluked the ride on Weekend Hussler, Sebring or Tuesday Joy 6-12 months ago. How would his stats look today?

Maybach - Oli probably isn't as good as he once was (but he might get back there) and those stats don't look good, however, they're still better than Newitt's not so long agop (1 win from 70 rides at Flemo) and KhrapAxl loves him!

Wow, lost clarity by name... Here we have a man destined to tumble into the obvious. You begin a post with a cliched, shop-worn dog-eared phrase and that's how you end: 'You can always tell a Victorian ~ you just can't tell em [sic] much'. Such scintillating borrowed wit.
It would have been good if this [a] appalling [b] abysmal subject had made it to the bottom and kept going along with some other dregs that pass as threads.
Try and get enthusiastic about a subject that offers an outside chance of affording you some respect, prankster.
How do you measure up to Oliver you nobody.
Even imbeciles, halfwits, bums and sundowners know about Oliver's contribution to the racing industry.
Next time you get yourself pleased over a silly idea, run it by someone who has sense, and is able to put half-decent words on that sense.
You won't have to go far.

Congratulations to D.Oliver his performance on Saturday, whilst long overdue, was excellent.
Is he as good as he once was, not even close in my opinion and the facts above prove it.

Nigel, most of these dills who have been bagging Oliver for what they considered poor rides when they were mostly good rides with out much luck, are the same ones who would have said he butchered the runner up in a two horse race.
The only way he was going to make some of these people sit down and shut up, was to win every race he rode in today.
All things considered, his ride on Casino Prince was very good, he was never going to beat the winner.
He got the best out of the horse who's been up for sometime now.
Interesting to see if any of the "critic's" will give him credit for a couple of great rides and a copybook effort in the Cup.
