You may already consider this, but in races 1400m+, moreso 1500m+, the DLR5 rating can be worth looking at.
When a runner comes up with 25 points or less, on DLR5, generally a big risk.
27 points, not too bad, but 28-33 points, have fitness on their side. I know someone who only looks at 30 or 33 point runners in races of 1600m+. Comes up with top value at times.
Today at Sale, DLR5, you have R2 H7, 27 points R4 H8, 27 points R6 H1, 25 points
Me even mentioning this, should make them all winners!!!!
I also know someone who tops up his pension from the neurals. Default setting, he only backs those which have over 'x' points in total and where 5 or 6 factors head the points totals. Not 100% sure of the precise rules. The selections are always short and not many of them, but winners keep coming.
All the best.
