Geelong will win and rank with Brisbane after another demolition but where are their supporters? They've been beaten once all year. If that's not a cause for confidence I don't know what is.
Tufnel has locked himself in the john all week. Where is all that up-yourself braggadocio we've had to put up with all year? You're no good to your footy club if you disappear all week or hide behind your fingers or diversions like the D Generation and small talk about C'est la Guerre you wimp. Definitely the wrong week for silence.
Those that were seen and heard before the game can crow once the job's done. Get out there and beat the drum.

Looks like hey are going to end up like Essendon as a powerhouse that underachieves.
Whats the point of losing one game for the year and falling at the final hurdle.

Matty White turned in a Super Impose like effort today to win really with something in hand.
Apart from Fev cheating two years back when Foley really should have won. This is our pet event,
Lids Foley King White

Disagree LC. The Cats have the team and the youth to back it up for the next 2 seasons at least. If after that period they haven't added to the haul they will then be known as underachievers. They could win 2 or 3 flags in the next 5 years with the list they have. Essendon were gone as a team by the time 2002 came around and only had a small window of 3 years in which they did underachieve. The Cats could do a Hawthorn of the 80s/90s and be dominant for an extended period.

They home, my bet is an all up Melb storm $1.60 Geelong -15.5 $1.90 Manly $1.38 Got the first leg up easily last night, hope the rest will continue. | | Post a reply to this message. |

Watching the '97 GF on the footy marathon last night and couldnt help but think the StK side of that year resembled the Hawks. 6 good players who in 10 years will be remembered with a couple of 'greats' for good measure and the rest will be consigned to the 'gee remember that bloke' bin.
