TRADITIONAL PREMEIRSHIP AND MOM

For the 5th straight month, Birmingham Sydney leads the comp with 1660 pts, maintaining a 60+ advnatage over The Invincibles (1598). After some stinging criticism, the big mover this month is White Hart Heroes (1540), up 7 places into 3rd! Great work to get back into contention Bluboy, and whats more, you've picked up the Manager of the Month award for February/March with 412pts. Jesa also experienced a good few weeks, jumping 4 spots and claiming some Manager of the Year points along with our leader Ausbrum.

*** February/March Manager of the Month - Bluboy ***

321: Bluboy, Jesaulenko, Ausbrum
MOY: Ausbrum 7, Young Stud 6, Bohemiath, Bodsy 5, Dartagnan, Bluboy 4, Saintly1996 3

LEAGUE

Some major moves this week with yesterday's hero Dagz in the 8 for the first time this season, along with Jimmy13. Bluboy has his heroes one point out of the 8 after climbing from 17th on the ladder while Gunners and Torp drop out. Still, its very tight and plenty to play for with just 4 rounds before finals.

Camel flashing home like Kingstong Town in the head to head comp against bettowin. I can hear Bill Collins now "he might win another free feed yet the champ!"

Well what a cracking round of games. There was one change to the 8 with Fergilicious back in at the expense of Cunning Stunts, and there’s still 9 teams gunning for the final four positions! Well done to the four teams that raised the bat this week, Welcome Home Joe (102) who towelled up top 4 team JellyFish Lesbians 6-1, Fergie and White Hart Heroes (both 100) with 5-3 home wins over Boro and Cunning Stunts respectively, and Camel (112) top scoring to keep his hopes alive with a 6-4 away romp over Jesaulenko!

Here’s how the table is looking

Team F GD Pts
1 Birmingham Sydney 69 25 60
2 The People's Champs 65 7 51
3 JellyFish Lesbians 51 -4 51
4 The Invincibles 65 11 50
5 Diaby Does Gallas 52 3 46
6 Virenque 61 8 45
7 Fergielicious 57 2 45
8 Jesaulenko 64 4 43
---
9 White Hart Heroes 67 2 43
10 Cunning Stunts 55 -4 43
11 Camel's Menagerie 58 -3 42
12 The Junkies 56 -3 42
13 GunnersFC 61 0 40

Remember, ladder position will be decided on Pts, then GD, then F (goals scored)

Good luck!

Two rounds til finals... the top 4 are assured (JellyFish Lesbians have somehow moved into 2nd with the 5th worst attack in the league ~ fair effort Young Stud!) and there are still 9 teams vying for the bottom 4 spots.

League Table
1 Birmingham Sydney 57
2 JellyFish Lesbians 51
3 The Invincibles        50
4 The People's Champs 50
5 Virenque               45
6 Jesaulenko              43
7 Diaby Does Gallas 43
8 Cunning Stunts          43
---
9 Fergielicious           42
10 White Hart Heroes 40
11 GunnersFC               39
12 The Junkies             39
13 Camel's Menagerie 39
14 Borofc                  36
15 Saintly's Allstars 36
16 WelcomeHomeJoe          35
17 PremierLEEDS            32
18 Obe's XI               28

Upcoming Games
Fergie, having won 3 of their last 4, face Boro at home before travelling to the Menagerie in a game that could well decide the make up of the 8. Camel takes on Jesa away this week to keep their hopes alive.

White Hart Heroes have been on fire scoring 21 goals in their last 7 games including 3 in each of thier last 3 away games. Not even The Invincibles could extinguish their aspirations at the weekend but they now face Cunning Stunts at home, where they haven't won since Feb 12, in a do or die clash.

Gunners surprisingly haven't been able to translate their traditional premiership form (currently 4th) into the league, and are enduring a horror run home having to face top 8 teams over the final 6 rounds. They've managed just 2 points from their last 4 games and now take on The People's Champs away and Virenque at home.

The Junkies scored the same luck drawing 6 top 8 teams at the pointy end of the season. With only 3pts to show for their last 5 games after handing the league leaders just their 3rd defeat of the season, they must defeat Virenque away before hosting Obe's XI, who despite their ladder position have caused plenty of nuisance value snaring points against Virenque, People's Champs and White Hart Heroes in recent weeks.

Of course, the current top 8 teams hold their destiny in their own hands. Virenque requires one more win to secure a spot and have drawn the luckless Junkies at home this week. Jesa would dearly love to roll the Menagerie at home before they take on the Lesbians away. Cunning Stunts have two crunch games against the Heroes and Birmingham Sydney while Diaby Does Gallas finishes with two bottom 4 teams, potential danger games but with the experienced campaigner Dagz at the helm, there'll be no easing off for the former premiers.

good luck on the weekend to all teams!
