Despite only having a Bendigo Maiden as his only career win, I've always thought the ANADJAWUN would win a decent race one day.
He's been around the mark in some good quality 2000m races recently and being by Yamanin Vital out of damline with heaps of stamina, I think we'll see the best of him on Saturday when he steps up to the 2600m of the Chairmans Hcp.
If he goes as well as I expect Saturday, his odds will halve for the Sydney Cup.

This Quez v Lister battle is reminiscent of former great R & S rivalries such as Patsy v Rex, Khap v the world, Nigeltufnel v Khap, Nat Vuitton v Nigeltufnel, Nat v her own mind, Khap v his hand.

Agree with Galazani. Well bred, on the up and in on the minimum. Divine Rebel came through the same race two years ago and almost pinched the Cup. The Chairmans is a good race and can be a good guide to the Sydney Cup. I'll be watching keenly.

The jockey of Descarodo said he felt like "jelly" at the end of the BMW.
I felt the same way when Zavite beat him by an eyelash in the Ranvet.
Enjoy Derby day, does the day remind you a bit of day that Clangalang won?

He's not in the markets. Fair pointer that he isn't running wouldn't you think.? A quick google search would have saved you the time it took to ask the question. I read it in the paper on Monday.

Just have a look at last years' Metrop., folks. Anyone who's been around here a while knows I had a big opinion of this bloke. Unfortunately for him [IMHO], he won that race so comprehensively his connections decided to aim high with him.
As I said the other week [look it up], it looks like Lee has finally worked out the horse in question is a handicapper pure and simple. His terrible wfa form should therefore be completely disregarded.
I'm guessing that as a Montjeu he has inherited some psychological quirks which can try a trainer's patience. This preparation it seems they have decided to space his runs and keep him race fresh. The Albury Cup run was a step in the right direction. I'll be watching his run on Saturday with interest.
If [and I'll admit it's a fairly big if] the same horse who won the Metrop. turns up Sydney Cup day, he will thrash them.
