Subject: How bad is the state of Aussie cricket

Message:
It seems our summer sports have hit an all time low. I think Tennis and Cricket players should not play overseas, it is just an embarrassment. Stick to playing in your own country in summer, preferably not against anyone from overseas.

Recent scores have nothing to do with it being winter here, although millions will make that excuse for our cricket team. They always make poor excuses for our cricket team when they lose in England.

A measure of how bad we are going is that Lee still gets a game in the national side. He was finished 5 years ago.

A 4-0 debacle. A washout and a whitewash in the 5 match one sided series. You could see it coming. Well I could.

O dear Manu what are you going to say, or are you going to copy me again and agree that "How bad is the state of Aussie cricket".

Even worse they have no one coming through that even looks like being an international one day cricketer of any note.

No sooner I put up a thread and Manu embarrasssssessss itself/herself yet again.

I am ahead of my time once again. You see Manu, the ratings are not taking recent games into account. At the start of this series I stated the above, as in the subject line.

And it has got worse and worse. The latest absolute flogging in game 4 was an embarrassesment for Aus cricket and Manu. Like no sooner he puts down my claims and Aussies cop their biggest hiding in years.

You see I have asked "how bad is the state of Aussie cricket" and next time you see World Cricket rankings taking into account the current series, Aussies will not be where they are now.

I spot things as they are about to happen or as they are happening. Manu is living in the past or copying others. Nothing new or original from the half wit.

In a week or so we might discuss Test Cricket, that is even worse news for the Aussie fans.

Cricket team has been poor for years now. Everything goes in cycles. Boats keep coming everyday and some aren't aware of the current state of affairs in a foreign country.

I think you will find it is not in too bad a state considering in tests this year we beat Sri Lanka away (which England failed to do), drew with South Africa away and then beaten India at home. Our test results (real cricket) of late have matched that of England so whilst we are not where we were when dominating over the past decade we are still very competitive and i would not call that a bad state...
