Spain's NBA stars to meet Boomers

Los Angeles Lakers centre Pau Gasol heads a list of five NBA stars in a powerful Spanish Olympic basketball team that will take on Australia and other Group B opponents in London.

Gasol is joined in the European champions' squad announced on Tuesday by his brother Marc of the Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors point guard Jose Manuel Calderon, Denver Nuggets shooting guard Rudy Fernandez and Oklahoma City's power forward Serge Ibaka who is playing in the NBA Finals against Miami Heat.

Spain, silver medallists at the 2008 Games, and the Boomers are joined in group B for the Olympics by Britain, Brazil and one further yet-to-be-determined qualifier.

Spanish squad: Jose Manuel Calderon, Sergio Rodriguez, Sergio Llul, Felipe Reyes, Victor Sada, Juan Carlos Navarro, Rudy Fernandez, Fernando San Emeterio, Victor Claver, Rafa Martinez, Pau Gasol, Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka.
