Sunday, 15 July 2012:

Top seeded Serb and world number eight Janko Tipsarevic beat Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil 6-4 2-6 6-4 to reach the final of the ATP tournament in Stuttgart on Saturday.

Tipsarevic now faces Argentine second seed Juan Monaco, who saw off world number 87 Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain 6-3 3-6 7-5.

Monaco, who leads Tipsarevic 2-1 in their career head-to-heads to date, is chasing his third title of the season after trophies in Vina del Mar, Chile, and at Houston.

The Argentine was briefly held up as, after romping 5-1 clear in his decider, dropped serve and then missed three match points on his next service game before finally wrapping things up in 2hr 40min.
