Tuesday, 24 July 2012:
A rematch of last season's nail-biting grand final is set to kick-start the upcoming WNBL 2012-13 season.
The Dandenong Rangers will host the Bulleen Boomers on October 5, almost seven months after stealing the title from the defending champions with a 94-70 win.
The game will be one of two played on the season's opening night, according to Basketball Australia who released the full 2012-13 schedule on Tuesday.
All nine teams will play 24 games over the 19 rounds of the regular season, which will run through to February 16 next year.
Included will be a series of matches in Australian regional centres, including Rockhampton, Alice Springs and Albury.
The grand final is scheduled for Sunday, March 10.
