Classic Memsie
The 2010 renewal of the time-honoured Group 2 Memsie Stakes (1400m) first run in 1899 when won by Veneda, produced an exciting clash between some of Australia's best gallopers.
New Crops Promises Depth
The now four-year-old racing crop sent out strong signals during their three-year-old racing year that they were going to be a force this season.
Toorak Toff Guineas Bound After Rose Success

Timeform Race September 2 - Salisbury
Ten juvenile Fillies go to post for this Listed event. Margot Did is a strong-travelling filly who won in smooth fashion on her first two starts, and has been unlucky to find one too good in pattern company on each of her last three outings. She very much sets standard, and will be hard to beat with a clear passage.
Timeform Race September 1 - Kempton
Eleven line-up in this competitive three-year-old handicap. King Of Windsor readily landed the odds in an Ayr maiden in June, and has since run very well in a pair of competitive 1m handicaps, staying on strongly on both occasions.
Timeform Race August 31 - Ripon
Twelve go to post for this mile-and-a-quarter handicap. Mirrored was useful for Sir Michael Stoute at 3 yrs, but failed to fire in three starts for Dandy Nicholls this term.
Timeform Essay - Rip Van Winkle
On the back of Rip Van Winkle's success in the Juddmonte International at York last week, we take a look back at his exploits in 2009.
Timeform Race August 26 - Ffos Las
Ten three-year-olds go to post for this sprint handicap. Sunraider scaled new heights when readily winning a 6f Haydock handicap in June. He had little room to manoeuvre at York next time (best ignored), but seemed amiss when heavily backed over 7f at Newmarket earlier this month.
Timeform Race August 25 - Yarmouth
Eight runners line up for this mile handicap. Satwa Laird was better than ever when winning narrowly over 1m at Chepstow in May.
