Sunday, 22 July 2012: Seven line up for a fascinating renewal of the fillies' classic, read on for Timeform's view... Colliding Worlds came on a lot for her debut when winning 9f Leopardstown maiden by 4 lengths from All That Rules last time, however this demands much more. Devotion went right way with each run at 2 yrs and recorded career best when second in Leopardstown Group 3 recently. Excuses when not at best since but looks stable third-string here. Great Heavens is a sister to Nathaniel who is progressing well, winning all 3 starts this year, impressively beating Shimmering Surf by 5 lengths in Group 2 at Haydock last time. Deserves place in this field. Princess Highway is from a very good family and improved winning 3 times this term, beating The Fugue 6 lengths in Group 2 at Royal Ascot for latest success. Likely to make another bold bid. Shirocco Star An edgy-sort whose improved massively this year, finishing an excellent neck second to Was in Oaks at Epsom before a respectable third to Princess Highway at Royal Ascot. Sure to give her running again. Twirl got off mark at second time of asking at Leopardstown last autumn but not much improvement this term, finishing behind some of these rivals in the Oaks and at Royal Ascot. Wears first-time blinkers. Was proved a very expensive yearling and marked improvement when landing the Oaks at Epsom last month, proving a neck too strong for Shirocco Star. Will need to progress again if completing the Oaks double. Timeform 1-2-3 1. Great Heavens 2. Princess Highway 3. Shirocco Star Timeform View: Was benefited from a trouble-free run when scoring at Epsom and may find this tougher up against a pair of smart and progressive fillies in Great Heavens and Princess Highway, both of whom have won all of their 3 starts this term. They are likely to fight out the finish with John Gosden's filly getting the nod, while the consistent Shirocco Star can fill the other place.
