The Bart Cummings-trained stayer, sixth in last year's Melbourne Cup and looking close to a win after a fast finising third in the Ranvet Stakes last start, looked one of the leading chances in this weekend's Group 1 BMW Stakes (1 1/2 miles) at Rosehill. But he will not be running and will instead today be x-ray for a possible knee injury. The result will be determine whether he goes on to the Sydney Cup or rested until the spring. Moatize is the $6.50 equal favourite for the Sydney Cup with Master O'Reilly, while Zagreb and Zavite share the second line of betting at $7.50.
