Ward also trains star Royal Ascot winner Lady Aurelia but has confirmed that she will be set for the Breeders Cup Sprint at Del Mar in November and would be considered for the $10 million Everest in 2018.

The 3YO Bound For Nowhere finished fourth in the G1 Commonwealth Cup won by the unbeaten Caravaggio at Royal Ascot last week.

“Bound For Nowhere is a horse that I own myself. He is a beautiful horse,” Ward said.

“He is going to keep improving. He is very talented.

Ward said Bound To Nowhere was unlucky not to finish in the placings in the Commonwealth Cup.

“When he went to make his move Caravaggio hindered him. He had to check and wait and when he finally got out he was coming,” Ward said.

“That being only his third start in his life and his only start outside of Kentucky really gave me high hopes for him.

I think he’s got a bigfuture. I plan on going back to France for a Group One in August and if he has a good showing there, I’d love to go to The Everest.”

Lady Aurelia has returned to Kentucky before she makes another trip to the UK for the G1 Nunthorpe Stakes at York on August 25.

“I think this year we just centre around what she does best and can get through with a couple more wins and next year we can go over and try The Everest,” Ward said.

“If we give her the time off, as a four-year-old she’ll be bigger and stronger and hopefully faster and we can go down there and do that.

“It’s certainly something I’d love to do. Next year as a four-year-old is what I would like.”
