Post race reports from recent NSW and Victorian meetings:-

NSW


RANDWICK – February 13

RACE 5: Impending – trainer John O'Shea advised that he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the colt and indicated the intention was to add blinkers and try to have run to the outside of horses in future.

RACE 7: Honesty Prevails - trainer Rick Worthington reported that the filly had pulled a hind plate and had also sustained an injury to its hock during a minor floating incident whilst returning from Monday's meeting. He advised this has resulted in a detailed assessment of the filly being delayed. Worthington advised an endoscopic examination and x-rays performed on the Honesty Prevails had not revealed any abnormality, however it was now his intention to perform a dynamic scope on the filly as well as completing scintigraphy, the results of which he shall report to the Stewards. The inquiry was further adjourned pending the receipt of the additional tests to be performed on the filly.

WARWICK FARM – February 8

RACE 7: Tumultuous – trainer Chris Waller advised he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding and confirmed that the performance was due to Tumultuous not handling the heavy track conditions. Waller advised the intention is now to continue with the gelding's preparation.

SANDOWN February 1

RACE 2: Kedleston - trainer Tony Vasil has advised that the colt has pulled up a little flat and will be sent for a 6-8 week spell.

RACE 6: Lady Effort - the stable of trainer Ciaron Maher have confirmed that the mare pulled up fine and will be continuing on.

Slam Bam - the stable of trainer Darren Weir have advised that the mare will now be spelled.

RACE 7: Last Request - the stable of trainer Darren Weir confirmed that the gelding had pulled up fine.

TERANG February 2

RACE 3: You Would Think - the stable of trainer Ciaron Maher advised that the filly pulled up well and is continuing on.

MOONEE VALLEY February 3

RACE 7: Choux Diva - trainer Simon Morrish has advised that the mare pulled up well but will now be retired.

CAULFIELD February 4

RACE 5: Aspect - trainer Tony McEvoy has advised that the colt pulled up fine and will be continuing on.
