RACE 5: The Avenger – stable representative C Duckworth advised that the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding and indicated the intention is to continue with its preparation. He endorsed the views expressed by K McEvoy and having regard to The Avenger being first up it will derive some improvement from the race.

NEWCASTLE November 19

RACE 6: Casino Girl – following Casino Girl having a severe bleed from both nostrils and displaying cardiac arrhythmia, the stewards have received advice from trainer Gerald Ryan and the managing owners of Casino Girl that she has now been retired from racing.

ROSEHILL November 18

RACE 2: Awoke – stable representative C Duckworth advised that Awoke has now been spelled.

RACE 3: Lead Choreographer – stable representative C Duckworth advised that they were satisfied with the post race condition of Lead Choreographer and the intention was to continue with the horse's preparation. He added that the stable had now amended the horse's gear to add a Norton Bit for its next race start.

RACE 1: Magnapegasus - trainer Anthony Freedman advised that the gelding pulled up satisfactorily and will continue on, looking for races over further distance.

RACE 1: Lady Mahala - the Ellerton/Zahra stable advised that the mare pulled up satisfactorily and will continue on.

RACE 4: Musee Des Arts - trainer Barry Fox advised that the gelding had jarred up and will now be spelled.

RACE 5: Gran Tryphena - trainer Anthony Freedman advised that the mare pulled up satisfactorily and will continue on.

RACE 6: Pop Queen - the stable advised that the mare pulled up satisfactorily and will continue with its preparation.

RACE 2: Dragon Wife - the trainer advised that the filly pulled up satisfactorily but will now be spelled.

RACE 7: Annrhon - trainer Heath Conners advised that the mare had jarred up from the run and will have chiropractic treatment before then continuing on.

RACE 8: Motown Lil - the stable advised that the mare pulled up satisfactorily and will continue with its preparation.

RACE 9: Nozomi - trainer Anthony Freedman advised that the gelding pulled up satisfactorily but will now be spelled.

RACE 10: Petition - trainer Anthony Freedman advised that the mare pulled up satisfactorily but will now be spelled.

RACE 4: Balancing Act - trainer Brent Stanley advised that the mare pulled up satisfactorily and will continue on.

RACE 5: Royalic - the Hayes/Dabernig stable advised that the gelding pulled up satisfactorily, may have found the 955m too short and will continue on.
