NSW and Victoria post race stewards reports from October 27-November 4.

NSW

ROSEHILL November 4


RACE 2: Rekindled Force – trainer Paul Messara advised that whilst they were satisfied with the post race condition of Rekindled Force, he was of the view that the colt had reached the end of its preparation and will now be spelled.

RACE 4: Collateral – stable representative Jack Bruce advised that they were satisfied with the post race condition of Collateral, however will apply a tongue tie to the horse's gear for its next start.

RACE 6: Mortar Platoon – stable representative Charles Duckworth advised that they were satisfied with the post race condition of Mortar Platoon.

CANTERBURY November 1

RACE 2: Laussel – stable representative Darren Beadman advised that the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the filly, however, indicated it would now be spelled.

RACE 3: Wu Gok – Stable representative Charles Duckworth advised that Wu Gok was found to have blood present in its offside nostril on return to the stables. Duckworth was advised that Wu Gok would now be required to barrier trial or gallop over 1000m in the presence of a steward prior to racing again.

RACE 7: Right As Rain – co-trainer Paul Snowden advised that the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the mare, however, indicated it would now be spelled

RANDWICK October 28

RACE 2: Pumpkin Pie – trainer Danny Williams advised that he was satisfied with the post race condition of the mare and confirmed Pumpkin Pie would be spelled.

RACE 6: Redouble – stable representative Jack Bruce advised that the cardiac arrhythmia that the horse was found to be suffering from post race on Saturday had resolved and a veterinary clearance, including the results of a satisfactory ECG, will be submitted to the Stewards. Bruce advised that the intention for Redouble at this stage is to barrier trial on November 3.

RACE 7: Shock Alert – stable representative Jack Bruce advis

ed that the stable was satisfied with the post race condition of the horse, however in light of the performance, Shock Alert would now be spelled.

RACE 8: Takedown – trainer Gary Moore advised that as reported, the gelding suffered a laceration to its near fore heel. He added that Takedown required stitches for this laceration. Moore advised that he would submit a veterinary clearance for Takedown as required. Moore was advised that Takedown would be required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of the stewards prior to racing again.

RACE 9: Jaminzah – stable representative Charles Duckworth advised that the stable was satisfied with the post race condition of Jaminzah, however indicated that the horse will now be sent for a spell.

Veladero – stable representative Charles Duckworth advised that the stable was satisfied with the post race condition of Veladero, however indicated that the horse will now be sent for a spell.

CANTERBURY October 27

RACE 6: Realise Potential – trainer Joe Pride said that he will give Realise Potential a short let up and continue with its preparation.

VICTORIA

KILMORE November 5

RACE 6: Misty Sea - the Weir stable advised that the horse pulled up well from the run but will be better suited to racing as a gelding.

MORNINGTON November 5

RACE 3: Skyfire - trainer Amy Johnston advised that the gelding pulled up with no issues following the run and will continue its preparation.

FLEMINGTON November 4

RACE 3: Lake Como - trainer Pat Hyland advised that the mare pulled up sore, however improved in the ensuing days and will continue with its preparation.

RACE 6: Silent Sedition - the Noblet stable advised that the mare pulled up satisfactorily but will now be spelled.

RACE 9: Man From Uncle - the stable advised that the gelding horse pulled up satisfactorily and will continue with its preparation.

HORSHAM November 3

RACE 6: Magic Consol - trainer Paul Preusker has reported that the gelding jarred up from the run and its off hind leg had been galloped on. The gelding will now have a short break before resuming its preparation.

MOONEE VALLEY November 3

RACE 8: Fastbrook - trainer Nigel Blackiston advised that although the mare pulled up satisfactorily, he feels there may be something slightly amiss and she will be sent for an MRI for further investigation.

BENALLA October 31

RACE 2: Holy Diamond - the Hayes/Dabernig stable advised that the colt pulled up satisfactorily however will now be spelled.
