The talented four-year-old (Domesday x See A Victory by Mister C) provided her sire with his 14th stakes winner. They include the G1 winners Pressday and Doctor Doom.

The Ron Quinton-trained mare, second in the G3 Godolphin Crown at her previous start, beat Prompt Response (Beneteau) by a head with the same margin to Serene Majesty (Fastnet Rock).

Domesday, formerly based in NSW and Victoria, is now standing in Queensland.

Daysee Doom Horseform won six of her 12 starts and has been placed three times in black type races plus a fourth in the G1 Coolmore Classic during the autumn, earning $429,775.

Retained to race by her breeder, Daysee Doom is the only foal out of See A Victory, a stakes placed winner of three races in Western Australia.

Daysee Doom’s second dam Danish Victory (Vettori) is an unraced half-sister to Listed winner Cooldini (Bernardini) and Listed Seymour Cup winner Correct Amoondo (Snippets).

Her fourth dam Formal Invitation (Be My Guest) won the Listed Blue Diamond Prelude and was the dam of eight winners.

See A Victory was covered by Street Boss in 2012 but died in 2013 prior to foaling.

CHAMPION sire Redoute’s Choice sired his 147th stakes winner when the Peter and Paul Snowden-trained France claimed a narrow win in the Listed Scone Guineas on Saturday.

The colt by Redoute’s Choice from Miss Marielle (Encosta De Lago) beat the dual G1 winner Prized Icon (More Than Ready) by a short head with Spright (Hinchinbrook) third.

France was a $475,000 purchase from the draft of Newhaven Park at the 2015 Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

FAST running sprinter Quatronic made all in the Listed Ortensia Stakes at Scone to provide his sire Nicconi with his 12th stakes winner.

The Matt Dunn-trained Quatronic Horseform (Nicconi x Suzy Grey by County) has now won three of his four starts this preparation for trainer Matt Dunn.

Nicconi enjoyed a notable double on Saturday as he is also the sire G3 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes winner Time Awaits Horseform.

It was the second stakes win for Time Awaits (Nicconi x Bon Ton by Danzero)) after the Tony McEvoy-trained filly won the Listed Cinderella Stakes at Morphettville in March.

Time Awaits was bred by Pipeliner Bloodstock who race the filly with partners. She has now won three times with two seconds from seven starts, earning prize money of $266,235.

She is the first foal from Bon Ton, a city winning half-sister to the Listed-placed Yaqubi (Galileo).

Second dam is the G2 WA Oaks winner Mystic Chantry (Chanteclair), a half-sister to stakes-placed Go Glitter (Go Dancer) and Currastar (Curravilla), dam of the G2 Tulloch Stakes winner Stella Grande (Marquestry) and Listed winner Shoeless (Archway).

Race Synopsis: Highly consistent Ron Quinton-trained mare Daysee Doom, staged another smart effort in winning here, an overdue first stakes success after three Group placings previously. She settled well in fifth place on the rails, went to third on straightening, took the lead at the 200m and then fought gamely to score well. It was also a good ride by the apprentice Andrew Adkins. Prompt Response raced in fourth place, looked a threat when she challenged at the 200m and then battled strongly for a very good second, just finding the winner a bit too good. Serene Majesty raced back towards to tail of the 15-horse field and caught the eye in running on late for third.
