Canterbury: Race 7 @ 4:07pm
Promising 3yo CALANDA for Team Snowden looks a leading hope first up from a four month spell. Led all the way to score with consummate ease first up last campaign, then went on to add the rich Inglis race to his resume before spelling. Takes on the older horses here but is heading for better things. ELEMENOHPEE goes best when fresh and comes into this off a solid barrier trial effort at Rosehill recently. Drawn well in barrier 2 and should be somewhere in the finish today. Track specialist QUEEN OF KARIBA made up a lot of ground in the run home to finish just 2.1L adrift in the Group 3 Wenona Girl over 1200m at Randwick 44 days ago. Races well fresh so looks bound to be a threat. SELECTIONS:: #10 Calanda for the win.

Sandown: Race 9 @ 4:50pm
Good speed drawn out here. Think that A Littlebitofclass and Any Dream Will Do work across with Tigidig Tigidig and there's enough pressure to make them work to get across. BLUE TYCOON was really good first up. Gets a soft run from the low draw and if the splits come when he needs them he is good enough to beat these. Spring form was strong and he's clearly back just as well based on latest. LAUCHETTI rallied hard to beat a nice horse two back and comes through another good race for the class last time. A danger. DANE THUNDER can run well fresh. SELECTIONS: Backing Blue Tycoon.
Warwick R6 @ 4.15pm AEST
Maybe Red Ragga leads but won't be there long. Yours Truthfully sits outside. JIM 'N' ANDY has only missed the placings once in his career. He came from last to score at Ipswich which is a fair effort around there. Was bumped at the start so won't be sitting that far behind here. SO YOU DRINK seems to find one better most times. He is well placed after the claim. YOURS TRUTHFULLY will be on the speed and that could be important. This is his best distance. SELECTIONS: Easy to back Jim 'N' Andy.
York R5 @ 5.50pm AEST
An even tempo here. Should find spots quickly. BEVEL has been getting closer with each run. He was wide and still kept finding at Pinjarra. Dropping back to a Class 2 means he is in the right company. BOOMNBUST got too far back last outing. If he can jump better, he could easily be right in the finish because he always closes late. DEMI GO ROUND has run her best races at York. Happy to forgive the most recent effort in town. SELECTIONS: Like Bevel here to win.
