Wyong: Race 5 @ 2:55pm

Speed anticipated from Best Guess, Postmaster General, Pedway and Good Time Charlie. BEST GUESS has had the two starts to date, both containing plenty of promise. Led and gave nothing else a chance when a 3.3L winner at Gosford most recently. Placing to Medlyn on debut prior to that looks solid given he's short odds to take out race five today. Hard not to be impressed with him so far and despite the rise to Bnchmk level should take beating with scope for improvement. POSTMASTER GENERAL is a no fuss galloper who always gives his all. Improved sharply second-up to get the win at Wyong most recently. Conditions suit once again here and must be respected with Parr to ride. DISSOLUTE next best. SELECTIONS: Best Guess straight out.

Bendigo: Race 6 @ 4:00pm

Big field should ensure that there is plenty of pressure for positions early and a good tempo throughout. SAVAJU is going to relish that. Outsprinted by Sebring Sun here last time but effort was sound and the form looks good for this. Stable clearly hold her in high regard having tested her up in class prior to that. Going well enough to beat ZAMZAM who is a smart filly and sure to be popular back against the handicapper having races in stakes company through the spring.

NORDIC EMPIRE was soft late in the piece last time but the run here two back reads well and she goes into the mix along with Gibbon who did enough first up. SELECTIONS: Backing Savaju.

Ipswich: Race 8 @ 4:25pm

Genuine tempo anticipated. INVINCIBLE EXPRESS returns off strong winning form last campaign and she possesses a terrific career record. Trialled at Sunshine Coast last month and expect her to take a power of beating today. Has won when fresh previously and from the wide draw will roll forward and take plenty of running down.

VIENNA QUEEN will appreciate the drop in grade today, having not been far away in tougher last start. Worth including among the chances with KHALEEQ who can bounce back to form. SELECTIONS: Invincible Express for the win.

Murray Bridge: Race 7 @ 4.57pm (AEST)

No shortage of early speed but expecting Battistoni to hold the lead from the rails draw. AKKACAN fought hard for a narrow win at Naracoorte last time having produced solid efforts in the city at his two other runs this campaign. Has two wins from three starts at both the course and the distance so looks suited with the 3kg claim. BATTISTONI is a model of consistency with two wins and three placings from his past five starts. He can give a big sight again. CAPTAIN PARKER was a close up third last start and has won third up before so could be ready to peak. SELECTIONS: Course and distance specialist Akkacan has each way appeal from #4 and #7.
