The going is currently described as soft with an unsettled forecast until Thursday, after which it is expected to be dry.

Heartache Horseform has been out of action since suffering a setback when losing her unbeaten record in the Prix Robert Papin in July.

Her trainer Clive Cox could hardly be in better form, however, after securing big-race wins in three different countries at the weekend.

"It is the plan to run her, but the weather is trying its best to prevent us," said Sam Hoskins, who is part of the Hot To Trot syndicate which owns Heartache.

"If it is good to soft or better she will run, but if it is any softer than that she will go straight to the Cheveley Park.

"They had a lot of rain at Doncaster earlier in the week but I think it is supposed to be predominantly dry from now, and the strong winds will help it dry.

"We're really hoping we can run her."
