Original Blog Post:

There are reports that sprint star Caravaggio may come to Aussie for the Everest.

Won't that have Rex and his fellow Aussie followers shaking in their boots.

The race will be at his mercy providing he travels to Aussie ok and all goes well once he has landed.

Aussie may have one legitimate contender. Just one. As we all know Aussie sprinters are now generally very slow, overated and ordinary unlike around five years back when Aussie had a few more, only a few and didn't everyone get excited. Aussie were being claimed as the sprint capital of the world. Not surprisingly all those boasts turn to red faces and excuses these days.

So let's look forward to one overseas horse leaving Aussie plodders in his wake. When you see some of the names of likely starters you really wonder what the margins will be. No wonder we don't see any Aussie's at Ascot. Can't wait.

Khappo

So if you know nothing about overseas horses, as you've just said, how on earth can you declare one who at the time hadn't run outside his own age group a certain winner against the Australias best sprinters?

Not only are you a troll, you're bad at it.

Do your dough on another odds-on pop did you Rex.

I don't care what Caravaggio does or promises. He is an overseas horse and I don't follow them or bet on overseas races. Basically don't know one from the other just like you with Aussie horses.

Oh hang on you know two Aussie horses currently racing in Aussie. They are the only two you have mentioned, when asked to give us the best.

Just as well really. Remember Holler and Japonisme. About as bad as your Dubai and Epsom Derby tips.

Come to think of it have you been correct with racing predictions.

I may be irrelevant in your eyes, but you keep responding and that's all I could ask for.

Gone the early crow here Khappo. Telling us all a horse who had never been in open company would smash the Australian sprinters. Am amateurs comment.

Hes now had 2 runs in open company and has been unplaced in both of them. Bumped into some good ones in the July Cup but today lot wern't serious G1s types.

If he was an Aussie horse you'd be telling us all he was a camel, over-rated etc etc

Another clanger- and you want to discuss Aussie horses with me? Forget it.

Think you'll find the connections have had some experience in travelling horses Khappo.

Yes it will be great to see a top line European 3yo sprinter in Australia.

He goes to the July Cup next which will be his first time against open company.
