Original Blog Post:

The $2,000,000 Mackinnon Stakes is a disgrace. That is right $2,000,000.

Were we not led to believe the change of date of this race to the last day would make the race, blah, blah, blah. A highlight of the final day they said. A sequel to the Cox Plate they said, blah, blah, blah.

Just another $2,000,000 put on for 2nd rate imports is about all. Connections of hot favourite Blair House probably cannot believe their luck. The horse has only won $730,000 from 16 lifetime starts. Whether it wins is another thing but at least they can dream until 4.55pm Saturday.

It really is a disgraceful field. The 3rd fav is the same price in this as it was in a Fillies and Mares Group 1 last Saturday. Time to move it back to where it was on Derby Day as a barrier trial for the Melbourne Cup and at the same time cut the stakes in half. They would not get a worse field if they did.

And don't think the problems are just in Melbourne. Have a look at the Sydney Saturday meetings the last few weeks. Another disgrace. The 4 smallest fields tomorrow have a collective total of 25 runners, and could be even less with more scratchings. Disgraceful. Some will say it is because of cup week racing but that is no excuse, it has been a similar case for many weeks now.

Rex you have not given us either list. A reference to someone's ratings is not your list.
Besides you only gave reference to one horse.

Trapeze Artist? Really!! Surely you are not saying this is Aussies best sprinter. No wonder you fail to mention the other 4 we asked for.

You say the list constantly needs updating. It does not need updating if you don't have the list to start with. An given your blank stare when asked for it, we assume you have not got a list. All you know how to do is look up someone's rating.

Ive given you a list twice now- so stop lying. The list constantly needs updating because she is still going- unlike most Euros who retire early.

You asked for the top 5 sprinters - I pointed out the top rated 6F horse in the world is Trapeze Artist this year. The fact he doesn't win every time he goes around tells use what K Dill? Use some common sense.

Now answer my question- was that a sensible posting from your mate re Humidor being the top rated for the Melbourne Cup?

Whose top rating?

Just one horse, is that all you have? What about all the other top raters you allege?

What about your best, don't worry about the ratings, we want to see your best. And can you get past 1, by any chance?

The mods keep editing or deleting my posts it seems they are ashamed of the Aussie horses too.

Rex those lists are;

The best 5 Aussie horses that Winx has defeated.

The best 5 Aussie sprinters currently racing in Aussie.

Keep conversation fresh, or it will be deleted. (MODS)

In one ridiculously stupid line has once again shown how clueless he is about ratings and racing in general.

The only sad thing here is, you dont realise how stupidly dumb this one line is you've just stated.

Omg - jesus wept you're th1ck.

These ratings L. Rex. Were they done by the same people who had Humidor on top for the 2017 Melbourne Cup?

Blah blah blah Rex. It is all very well to make assertions but you never provide proof.

We are not surprised you have omitted names yet again. Do you know the names of more than a few Aussie horses?

And you still can't tell us those horses we asked for.

So who are these anonymous top and near top raters you are referring to? Give us names or it means nothing.

Where have I ever said Aussie racing is poor? Never ever said that. You just don't get it, do you Rex? Aussie group races are a joke with some of the camels in those races in recent years but that does not mean it is not a good race for punters. Racing in Aussie is very good and great to bet on, I make a living from it.

I have said that the quality of Aussie horses racing in Aussie is terrible overall and the quantity of very good horses Aussie horses racing in Aussie has never been worse.
