Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) will become the first harness racing jurisdiction in Australia to implement a minimum bet policy with approved Wagering Service Providers (WSPs).

Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) will become the first harness racing jurisdiction in Australia to implement a minimum bet policy with approved Wagering Service Providers (WSPs).

Effective 1 January, 2018, WSPs will be required to:

- Accept a fixed odds win bet at odds which are publicly displayed by the WSP for Victorian harness race to stand to lose a maximum amount of $1000 for Victorian metropolitan meetings (Friday, Saturday or Sunday at Tabcorp Park Melton)


- Accept a fixed odds win bet at odds which are publicly displayed by the WSP for Victorian harness race to stand to lose a maximum amount of $500 for Victorian country meetings

- Publish fixed odds on Victorian harness racing fields no later than one (1) hour prior to each applicable race

HRV will implement a formal online complaint process for customers who believe a wagering operator has wrongfully refused their bet or excluded them in contravention of the minimum limit conditions.
