The high class son of High Chaparral has stood his first three northern hemisphere seasons at The National Stud in the UK.

The Al Shaqab-owned stallion is about to start his third season in Australia at Swettenham Stud in Victoria.

Toronado Horseform won the G1 Sussex Stakes in 2013 and the G1 Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot in 2014.

Benoit Jeffroy of Haras de Bouquetot said he was delighted to add Toronado to their roster.

“We are delighted to receive such a high profile stallion as Toronado.

“There is little doubt that he will make an impact at the yearling sales and we are excited that he will be available to the French breeders the same year as his first two-year-olds are going to hit the track.”

Toronado stands at Swettenham Stud on a fee of $22,000 including GST.
