More Listed action at Ascot this weekend this time for the 3yos as they gear up for the Autumn carnival feature races.

However the first pick is for a horse with seven wins from nine starts and her last five in a row.

Electric Light Horseform was at her best during last Spring at Belmont with William Pike enjoying the ride.

She got off the pace in each of those races so the smaller field will help a bit.

No matter what the ground status, she finishes off each time and Pike has the ride again.

It looks like we’ll get great odds about ‘a winner.’

Have been thinking Assetro Horseform is a WA Oaks filly and she can stand up as a contender in the Natasha Stakes.

She will need a little luck from the draw but so will several other main chances.

Bred to want every bit of this, she can sit back and come with a strong run. Can easily see her being a big part of the next month of Perth racing.

BEST FROM THE WEST

BET OF THE DAY: Race 4 #6 Electric Light Horseform @ $3.10

EACH WAY PLAY: Race 6 #2 Assetro Horseform @ $6.50

R6 ASCOT 16 March 2019
Natasha Stakes 3F , 2200m
Race Synopsis: Jedaffair made it three on end and a maiden stakes win at her first attempt with a game win here. She was second early, dropping back to third down the far side then up into second again, a length back at the 1000m. From the 600m she moved up to the leader's flanks then levelled up at the top of the straight. She was away by a length at the 200m and the same at the 100m then had to withstand a strong challenge late, holding on by a short neck at the line. Ping Me Another got off the fence in sixth at the 600m, turned in four wide and went after the leader. She took a few strides to balance but was the strongest of the challengers, running on well late and taking ground off the winner with every stride. Assetro turned in wide and kept up a strong run for third, a nose in front of the very fast finishing Dark Choice.
