Tamworth: Race 6 @ 3:50pm

KETTERING worked home in good style without threatening last start to finish on the placegetters' backs over 1100m at Wyong. Will be at his peak now following three runs from a spell, and getting up to this trip for the first time looks a good option. SKYSCRAPER obviously thrived during a recent 39-day let-up as he returned recently with a dominant 3.5 lengths win at Quirindi over this distance, leading all the way. Hasn't always been able to put big runs back-to-back in the past but this is not overly strong. BOLD DAPPER had just his second run in three months when easily accounted for a Kembla last start. Fitter now and down in grade so can surprise. BOOLAROO next best returning from a spell. SELECTIONS: Backing #2 Kettering for the win.

Mildura: Race 8 @ 4:30pm

RIKIBOBBY has been building up to a win including a narrow loss in this grade last time. Significant rider change and should be hard to beat. SHE'S NIC'N OFF has placed at both runs this campaign and is nicely weighted here after the claim. Should go close again. TEN NUGGETS was placed last time here when marginally behind Rikibobby. Looks a leading player again. MULLINGER LANE is fitter for one run back and will take catching despite the wide draw. SELECTIONS: #1 Rikibobby has the senior engaged today and that could be the difference.

Wagga: Race 8 @ 4:45pm

Marchello and Nahema will be prominent in terms of early speed. NEWTOWN BLUEBAG is fresh from a spell this afternoon. Drops sharply in grade and proved competitive in town on a few occasions last time in. Far from disgraced in the Canberra Cup when last sighted and this appears a nice race to kick-off in. McDougall has a good association with him. MAN OF PEACE has a wonderful record at this track. Albury winner when last sighted and can handle all conditions. Danger. CASH CRISIS is three weeks between runs. Overall record good and is one for wider exotics. SELECTIONS: #11 Newtown Bluebag offers good each way value.
