Highly promising Tony McEvoy-trained colt Royal Symphony Horseform is now unbeaten in three starts. He was slow to move from his good barrier (2) but recovered to settle back in seventh place on the rails, behind a good tempo. Dwayne Dunn stuck to the inner nearing the home turn, got a good run through to be third at the 400m before switching the out shortly afterwards.

The colt took a moment to wind up before taking the lead at the 200m and then raced away to score most impressively, running the 1600m with his 59kg top weight really well. He looks a quality colt with a bright future.

Darren Weir-trained filly Anchor Bid Horseform raced back in ninth place before tracking up, wide with cover, from the 600m. She went to fourth at the 200m and kept running on well for second in a smart effort at her third race start. She looks the makings of a promising staying filly.

Evil Cry Horseform was back in third place before moving to second behind the leader (Madame Moustache) who had set a solid tempo. He challenged at the 300m and then held on well to take the minor placing while another Darren Weir-trained filly Studio City Horseform showed promise in running on from back in 12th place to finish fourth at only her second race start.
