The strength of the Tony McEvoy prepared two-year-olds was on show when the first starter Rowsthorn opened her winning account in the 1000 metre opening race on the Parks track at Morphettville on Wednesday.

Having the services of McEvoy’s apprentice Chris Caserta Rowsthorn settled well before going on to record a strong first start win.

Tony McEvoy and Chris Caserta made it two wins in succession when Lake District Girl won the 1000 metre second race.

Bringing up her first win Lake District Girl began well and continued a forward position before going on to take the event.

The first starter Allusion brought up a hat trick for the McEvoy/Caserta partnership when he came from a mid field position to take out the 1400 metre third event.

Apprentice Raquel Clark continued her good strike rate when she steered Pearl Bandit to victory in the 1550 metre fourth race.

Trained by Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas and opening her winning account at start number one Pearl Bandit was well placed.

The Tony McEvoy/Chris Caserta brought up their fourth winner when Rockarral won the 2250 metre fifth race.

Coming from a midfield position Rockarral was seen running on late in the event.

Hoop Jason Holder put his name in the winner’s list when he steered Our Benevento to a win in the 1400 metre sixth race.

Being under the care of David Aldridge at Murray Bridge Our Benevento came from a rearward position with a strong run in the closing stages of the event.

Returning to the track after a two year absence Raheeba took out the final event of 1000 metres.

Being under the care of Chris Bieg and having the services of apprentice Dylan Caboche Raheeba came from a midfield position to meet with success.
