2018 BRC SPRINT – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Test The World and I'm A Rippa the most likely to lead. TEST THE WORLD comes off two second placings to Anatola this campaign and that form reads well for this. Most recent came in listed company over the 1200m at the Gold Coast and she will also relish the step up to 1350m. Fitter third up and looks a very good chance.

MR SNEAKY has been far from disgraced in Group 1 company this campaign and gets his chance back in grade today. Worth including along with TOUGHERTHANTHEREST who has won his last three, the most recent for a new yard at Rosehill.

Race Synopsis: In a three-way finish, the Tony Gollan-trained four-year-old I'm A Rippa recorded his first stakes win in 24 starts in taking out this Group Three race. He began well and soon went to the front and travelled well under Jeff Lloyd. He was challenged on turning for home but kept responding to Lloyd's riding to hold on and win by a short neck in a game effort. Privalaka raced in fifth place (three deep) before moving up smartly to challenge at the 200m. He then kept battling gamely for a good second. Mr Sneaky settle midfield, between runners, improved rounding the home turn, went to fourth at the 200m and kept running on nicely for a close-up third. The favourite Test The World had a good trip behind the leader from his inside barrier (1) and looked to have had every chance before finishing (6.3 lengths) sixth.
